CultivIQ Ltd is a UK cultural governance and decision-intelligence consultancy. It works as a specialist advisor and delivery partner to organisations making decisions where culture, faith, belief and community context materially affect outcomes, using its Cultural Interpreting Framework to help make those decisions defensible and properly recorded. It works across healthcare and mental health, safeguarding, policing, higher education, local government and financial services.
Raza Rahman.
Raza is an Imam and civic leader with twenty-five years of frontline experience across healthcare, policing, higher education and faith and ethics settings.
From 2016 to 2022 he worked at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust as Mental Health Chaplain, Clinical Staff Governor and Co-Chair of the Race Equality staff network.
He holds an MA in Chaplaincy with Distinction from Newman University, teaches chaplaincy at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education and is a Director of the Newcastle Council of Faiths. He speaks English, Bengali, Arabic and Urdu.
The Cultural Interpreting Framework grew from that practice: a way of reading culturally complex moments that he found worked across every setting he served in.
